Psalm 18:26 "To the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd." How often have I heard someone say, "That's not a very loving God" or "I can't believe in a God who would do or say that." Today's Psalm seemed to say to me that the condition of our heart determines how we see God. Then in Romans 8:15 I see that our position also affects our view. "but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry Abba Father." The ability to approach the throne of God and see His true nature is something the world just can't do. I love 2 Chron.9:7 where the Queen of Sheba proclaims, "How happy your men must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom. Solomon on his throne is a picture of God and how happy we are to stand before Him and hear His wisdom!
