John 7 & 1Sam. 12

Publicly Jesus is met with crowds who just wanted to see miracles and be fed. Privately Jesus is met with unbelief. Being misunderstood has got to be one of the worst feelings I know, especially when you know the truth and no one will believe you. In times like this, let me not lash out, let me have a tongue that brings healing. Prov.15:4 In 1Sam.12:23 Samuel says,"As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you." I think that prayer for the unbelieving in our lives must always go before interaction with them. Samuel says that it's a sin not to.

  1. I underlined the same scriptures you referenced today Terriann! I took 2Sam 12:23 to say that it is a sin for me to cease praying for those God has given me to pray for. Whenever I say I'll pray for someone, I try to either pray right then aloud with them or in my heart silently, so I don't forget! I like to write myself notes so I remember to pray later. He is good to bring those to remembrance later at random times and remind me to pray again. Help me be obedient to do so when they come to mind!
