1Sam.20-21
Sometimes it's hard to read about all the trials and hardships that David endured. Saul had none of these hardships. He went directly to being king but the power and praise went right to his head. David, on the other hand, learned to praise God in the difficult times. He learned what it meant to go without and to be unjustly accused. This was the place to learn humility before being greatly used. I always try to wiggle out of every inconvience that comes my way. Then I wonder why I'm not being used more.

ReplyDeleteThat's me right there! I so need to rest in whatever comes my way and learn from it, learn thru it, instead of trying to get out of it! :)
