Oh yes! I love the book of Ruth. Especially after reading thru the book of Judges, it is so satisfying to see God's hand at work right in the midst of everyone doing what was right in there own eyes. Ruth, who is a picture of the church, "just so happened" to find her way to Boaz' field. Boaz the redeemer is a picture of Jesus. It is no accident that any of us found our way to Jesus. Ephesians 1:4 says "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world," There's something to chew on for awhile.
If you want to read something that's truly astounding on the book of Ruth, look up John Courson's topical study of Ruth 1-4 called, A Prophetic Overview Of Ruth. I have been reading Courson's commentary on the Old Testament each day after our OT passage and have found it to be rich in the anology and insight.

That sounds like a great commentary. Donnie has the NT one. Anyway after reading Ruth today I was inspired to pray for God to bring wonderful godly husbands/wives to each of our unmarried daughters/sons, and for His choice to be unmistakable, like for Ruth!

Speaking of Joseph, one of my faves. Our testing does have a time that it is finished, God's time. Hurray!
